Norway 2016 - Day 6-7 - Bodø - Atlantic Road

Day 6 and 7

 

Day 6 - Bodø - Verdal

 

Long day behind the wheel... Road E6 is quite interesting in terms of scenery. You drive long stretches with 'moon-like' landscape, don't know how to describe it more precisely. Didn't take photos really. Also nice railroad along the coast. I imagine train ride is scenic as well.

Some road works (temporary traffic lights), but delays are minor. Not a lot of 'official' stops / resting areas along the way though. And especially annoying that there are no signs in advance before smaller ones.

Bunch of teenagers in Verdal, driving in circles in cars with loud music. 😃

Hotel itself wasn't exactly good,  and I had to implement a workaround after I realized that those water noises are coming from my room and not neighboring one 😞  Nobody on the reception at night so you can only count on yourself 😐 No apologies / discounts / anything on checkout, when I mentioned it.

Day 7 - Atlantic road 

In short - I expected something more... Don't know why. Yes, impressive bridges, some nice landscapes along the way. But... I don't know. Again, for some reason I disagreed with GPS, so it cost me several additional kilometers 😃

Destination - Molde.
