Day 3 - Tromsø
If you haven't heard - there's insane amount of electric cars, especially Teslas in Norway. 😮Other random 'bullet points':
- 'upside down' standard of switches (you have to press upper side of the switch to turn the light on).
- it's really common to see digital price 'labels' in shops (small LCD screens displaying price) - seems like really expensive workforce accelerate such progress.
Airport - it's within city borders, both ends of runway are near the water. Most of the landings I saw there, were made from the southern side, where is quite a long uninhabited shore, so provided you have long-focus lens, you can find pretty nice plane spotting point.
Arctic Cathedral - really nice building, but nothing special inside (still, 40 NOK admission fee).
Also, I got the impression that people are not very paranoid about curtains overall - saw a lot of windows with open curtains.
Daily mileage: 25 km, and a lot of kilometers by foot 😊
